Accelar launches New Interactive Travel Portal for Trailways

Trailways Transportation System (Trailways), North America’s premier passenger ground transport and tourism network launched its first-ever interactive travel Portal www.trailways.com. This new e-portal enables consumers to schedule and book group-charters and tours online with Trailways from around the world and the clock.The earlier version of Trailways’ website was mainly an informational styled site. Trailways’ new e-portal permits travel consumers to interact one-on-one with any one of the network’s transport and tourism service providers.
Trailways chose Accelar's portal framework to power its own private-labeled portal to help showcase its network of companies, well-known travel brand, and the vast menu of transport and tourism services.
The new internet site sports a visually rich end-user interface, a first for this industry. It also offers a large-scale, e-Commerce marketing and sales portal with Web 2.0 technology that helps expand Trailways’ virtual reach and promotion of all its travel services.
The new Trailways website features a variety of new and innovative features, including:
